Association of Research Institutes (ARI) is a market research organization based in Washington DC. ARI collects performance data from various companies in various market segments, consolidates and analysis the data and then publishes newsletters, periodicals, circulars, questionnaires to all its client companies.
ARI wanted to track the memberships across all segments of the market and also track the versions of the mails sent. Maintaining data at various granularity levels and presenting them to members without compromising on quality and security was a challenge ARI faced.
Savitr developed a client-server tool that organizes the members' data, news letters, periodicals, circulars, questionnaires in a customizable structure. The tool can be scheduled to dispatch mails / send faxes to all the clients. The tool also stores all the communication on the web site.
ARI’s clients can login into the site browse folder structures, find files using intelligent search mechanisms and post replies. The application is developed using COM components deployed on IIS web server with front-end presentation in ASP. MS SQL database server stores the data at the back end.
